This code would be great if I could get it to work. I've written exactly what you have, yet my text is not rotating. Where did you download the rotating package from? I think this may be the problem because I had some difficulties with several versions I downloaded.
Thanks for your help, Amanda
I've been having the same problem with all sorts of rotating, and I've just figured it out. In my dvi, I don't see the text rotated, but if I convert to pdf (or to ps then pdf), or if I use pdfLaTeX, the text rotates just fine. It would be nice if it came out right in the dvi, but oh well.
``The rotating package specifically works with postscript and is therefore no good for dvi output. But the dvi output is really only for immediate screen viewing while editting. The final product will almost always be pdf or ps.'' from http://www.tug.org/pipermail/texhax/2005-November/005019.html
The rotating package I used was part of MikTex. Its by Sebastian Rahtz and Leonor Barroca.
Do you know if is it possible to rotate the row text in the table?
thanks in advance Anna
Does anybody know how to rotate an equation formed with the commands \begin{equation} \begin{split} .... \end{split} \end{equation}?
